“Peace
in Pieces — No Fear Forever” will be an eye opener. The movie shows
the mayhem that took place during the two World Wars, which left the
entire planet in pain and suffering. Closer at home, the movie shows how
brothers killed brothers and how sanity evaporated during the partition
of India in 1947. The movie also covers the assassination of Mahatma
Gandhi and the communal riots all around the country.
The
movie is a journey of a man who at every turn of his life is hit hard by
violence. His elder son gets killed in the September 11 attack on the
WTC, while the younger one looses his life in a terrorist attack in
Iraq.
Sad but
not shattered, with his two daughters-in-law, he mounts a campaign
against global violence in pursuit of peace. It's an arduous and uphill
task, yet he walks along the path unshaken, without respite.
They travel round the globe meeting the political heads and decision
makers of different nations and the heads of world bodies. They also
meet the terrorist groups and their leaders to understand even their
side of the story.
Meeting
all, they realize that everyone wants peace but no one stops fighting.
They spread this message among the masses and the people world over join
them in this crusade against violence.
Finally,
hard work and good sense prevails. Global peace is achieved and the
